Our Story : The Origin of She Affirms

She.Affirms began as a quiet call - a need to give words to women’s inner strength, resilience, and beauty.

In a world that often asks us to be louder, faster, and more performative, I wanted to create a space where women could pause, reflect, and remember who they are.

It started with affirmations. Small reflections. Simple truths. But those small moments of recognition quickly grew into something larger: a platform, a movement, a village.

 

To nurture and expand this vision, I founded AffirmCo - the parent company that houses She Affirms and its initiatives.

AffirmCo exists to hold space for women’s empowerment in all its forms - through words, community, and creative experiences.

It is the house; SheAffirms is the voice; Black Dove Connect is the gathering.

She Affirms is the flagship brand - a sanctuary for reflection, lifestyle inspiration, and feminine empowerment.

At its core is The She Affirms Blog - a space where stories meet soul, and reflections meet action.

Through the blog, we explore themes such as:
